    Greetings, dear readers,

As the peak of leaf season begins to soften into the colder days ahead, this is a beautiful time to come together in warmth and good company. I’ve been especially grateful for the open trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway this year and for all the helping hands who worked so hard to clear our beloved Mountains to Sea Trail.

By the time we next gather, the chill will likely be more consistent—perfect weather for sharing reflections, questions, and lively conversation indoors. I’ve reserved the group room at the North Asheville Library for our next Ringing Cedars Book Club meeting.

We’ll spend our time getting to know one another, discussing key ideas from the Ringing Cedars series, and sharing how these books are coming to life in our own lives.

We will also be joined by Gabriel Miguel, the Founder & Executive Director of the Anastasia Foundation, who is a local.

    Autumnal Tidings, Dear Readers!

I so very much enjoyed meeting new kindred spirits at the last book club, and relished the time with familiar faces too. For the December gathering, I’m opting to meet in front of the wood stove in my cozy living room. It feels fitting in the days just before Winter Solstice. And we won’t have to rush out when our two hours are up, which is a treat.

We’re still on Book 2, so if I haven’t had the joy of seeing you in a while, you aren’t behind.
