“Where you were born is where you are most needed.”
— Russian folk proverb

In Vladimir N. Megre’s books Anastasia and The Space of Love, Anastasia says twice: “Humanity receives far more benefit from me when I am on my own little glade.”

A question arises: why is that so? Perhaps Anastasia’s glade possesses some mystical properties. Or is there some other reason? Anastasia also states that after nine years of continuous residence in one’s Kin’s Domain, a person develops a deep contact with all living beings of the surrounding space.

Having lived for twenty years in our own Kin’s Domain, we have returned to this question many times and have tried to understand and become conscious of what Anastasia is talking about.

First of all, let us note that in Russian classical literature, in world classical literature, in myths, legends, and fairy tales, a person speaks with Nature, with the Earth, with the elements. Remember A. S. Pushkin: “Wind, O wind—mighty thou, thou drivest flocks of cloud…”

To all of us—the inhabitants of a technocratic civilization—such communication appears to be the fruit of poetic invention, a poetic metaphor, and nothing more.

But after twenty years of living in one’s own Domain, there arises a completely different level of comprehension of these poetic lines.

Right up until the beginning of the nineteenth century, in all kinds and genres of art the principle of the unity of time, place, and action was obligatory and strictly observed. On the level of feeling, we know this as the sense that it is essential to be in the right place at the right time, and to perform the necessary actions.

Sometimes, when such abilities manifest especially vividly, it seems to us that this is the product of a person with mystical abilities. However, Anastasia asserts that these are simply normal abilities and that everyone has them; we have simply forgotten about them and have lost our understanding of the importance of this fundamental principle.

In particular, in all the poetic works of William Shakespeare the principle of the unity of time, place, and action is observed. In our opinion these are echoes of ancient Vedic knowledge. All ancient theatrical actions and mysteries were built strictly upon this principle. Later this principle was blurred, declared unfashionable, and forgotten—supposedly, art had “moved forward.”

In reality, by abandoning this principle a person abandons his or her own unlimited creative might originally given by God.

How does this work on a Kin’s Domain? Very simply.

Each morning a person, stepping onto the land of their Kin’s Domain, smiles while passing the trees and flowers, and strokes a leaf or two. Beneath their feet is wondrous grass. Beautiful aromas delight the person, and the birds sing for them. All of these are living beings—perfect creations of God—and, feeling kindness, tenderness, and care from the person toward them, they attune their vibrations to the vibrations of the person.

Thus, the person regards the entire territory of their Kin’s Domain—one hectare [2.5 acres]—as one great home of their own. And all the living beings in the Kin’s Domain respond to the person in kind, always ready to support and serve them in creative undertakings. They become an amplifier and a megaphone for the feelings, emotions, and thoughts of the creator(s) of the Kin’s Domain.

There is no mysticism at all—everything is very simple and concrete. Mysticism arises when there is a lack of understanding. When understanding is present, mysticism instantly dissipates; it becomes superfluous and unnecessary.

[On the other hand,] in ecovillages a person lacks sufficient personal space to create a favorable surrounding environment in which all life is saturated with information precisely about this person and their relatives.

In essence, ecovillages are communes of various forms, often with a totalitarian leader.

At present the overwhelming majority of people on the planet have no Kin’s Domain, no small Motherland.

The modern consumerist, parasitic civilization has developed such standards of life that a great amount of movement across the planet has become fashionable. Following these standards underscores a person’s high status and their significant material means for buying tickets for vacations and for participating in various festivals and hangouts in different places on the planet. According to statistics, up to two million people are simultaneously in the air at any given moment, in flight. They fly not because they must, but because it is prestigious; it raises social status.

The chase after illusory social status makes a person neither healthier nor happier. If we soberly evaluate the necessity or uselessness of this constant traveling, then ninety percent of it will most likely turn out to be unnecessary, senseless, and aimless. By constantly moving, people fill the emptiness of their lives while mercilessly exploiting and exhausting the planet’s resources.

This by no means implies that a resident of a Kin’s Domain cannot or should not fly or go anywhere. Of course they can. The point is that the reasonable number of movements for a person is many times smaller than what today’s parasitic civilization imposes.

A person who constantly wants to fly somewhere quite possibly has a deep inner dissatisfaction. By constantly moving, they look for some kind of elusive meaning—what kind, they do not know themselves.

One who has their own Kin’s Domain finds themselves in a completely different situation. Such a person acquires a true home. And each day that person can find in this home some work that improves their Domain and benefits the whole planet.

The initial impulse for writing these articles was an attempt to become conscious of the difference between ecovillages and Kin’s Domain Settlements.

Where is the innovation here? What new things do Kin’s Domains bring that is not present in ecovillages?

In our opinion, ecovillages themselves are internally contradictory. On the one hand, there is care for the Earth as a living being. Ecological thinking is very good. However, against this background we observe a complete neglect of the ecology of the human being: by stepping into the river of [things like] drug addiction, a person goes very far from the original Divine design concerning themselves.

Ecovillages arose as the hippies’ protest movement against the capitalist, parasitic society. However, over the course of decades of their development and existence they have been unable to work out any creative ideas that influence the spiritual climate of the entire planet.

[Gabriel note: Alexey seems to be getting at the idea that many hundreds of Kin’s Domain Settlements have appeared across the planet — united by one overarching ideology — and have exerted a large, positive, and lasting influence on society. While ecovillages all have separate ideas and ways of life, and have failed to influence society at large in the way Kin’s Domain Settlements have.]

This, in our view, is the key difference between Kin’s Domains and ecovillages.

Applying Anastasia’s logic, the main thought can be formulated as follows: “If all people begin to live as people do in ecovillages, the planet’s spiritual climate will not improve. If all people live as people do in Kin’s Domains, the spiritual climate will improve.”

Anastasia also says that “for millennia the priests concealed the secret of the hectare from humanity.”

From our observations and way of sensing the world, one of the secrets of the hectare is this: from the moment a Kin’s Domain is created, an unremarkable vacant plot of land is transformed into a great Living Home with unique functions. And this “secret of the hectare” ceases to be mystical. Through a person’s awareness it passes into the realm of exact knowledge, when the declared result is subject to verification and can be reproduced. And one can make use of this on a conscious level without any magic or sorcery.

The daily re-creation of beauty on a small plot of the Earth is a personal merit before the planet and before the entire Universe. And this is accessible to everyone.
