Camping in California with Ringing Cedars Readers, August 8-10th!
Hi, I’m Alex Audet, Northern California Regional Ambassador.
Come join us at Grassy Flat Campground for a weekend August 8-10th to connect with the beauty and living vitality of the Humboldt Redwood Forests. Let’s all allow the lush forests to revitalize our passion to connect with our pristine origins and find our community and kin’s domains!
I will arrive Friday at 6 p.m. in the evening.
♂️ Saturday August 9th will be a full program of optional events including morning yoga, breathwork (pranayama) and meditation lead by me, recently trained by the Akhanda Yoga Institute in Rishikesh India. In the afternoon, we will have a book club meeting and discuss Book 3, the Space of Love. Feel free to bring up any of your favorite chapters from this book! There will be a trip to the beach and a short hike planned. In the evening, we will have a potluck, and if possible, a fire and music circle.
Please bring appropriate camping gear (reach out if you have
questions about this, or are having trouble getting everything you need), food for the potluck and for several days of camping if you plan to camp with us. Bring a copy of Book 3 of the Ringing Cedars if you have one. Bring any musical instrument you would like to share with the group. Lastly bring your brightest self and thoughts to celebrate and connect with others!
The Cost: The campground costs about $16 per night. We will reserve two sites, which can accommodate up to 8 people and 2 cars each. We request that everyone split the cost of each campground. It is important to contact us ASAP if you plan to come as it may be necessary to reserve additional campsites, which either you can do, or we can help you with.
