Finding Us:
We’ll be at the Gazebo area, highlighted in red on the map below. When you enter the botanical garden, take the path on the right and it’s a short distance away. Look for the Anastasia Foundation banner and table.

Event Notes:

  1. Seating & Comfort: Please bring your own chairs or blankets to sit on, if you desire. There are picnic tables and benches at the site as well.
  2. Food & Drinks: BYO snacks and drinks.

Parking:
A note from the Executive Director of the Garden: It is unlikely that you will find 30 parking spaces at noon on a Sunday in our small parking lot, so please ask your group to carpool and/or you may wish to inform them of an overflow parking lot which belongs to UNCA and is available to the public on weekends at 118 W.T. Weaver Blvd. (UNCA’s Health Center). It’s a 5-10 minute walk along Glenns Creek Greenway to the garden from this lot.

Supporting Our Hosts:
The Asheville Botanical Garden is generously hosting us in their beautiful space, and I’d love to show our appreciation and support them. If you’re able, please consider making a gift or becoming a member to support their wonderful work. As they put it: membership gifts help support our mission to protect and preserve Southern Appalachian native plants and make it possible for this community urban oasis to remain free and accessible to everyone.
