I have experienced walking and traveling “in the zone” connected to all there is during various periods of my life. I wholeheartedly enjoy freestyle dancing (mostly a solo dance), communicating with the ocean, animals and trees! Nature and God (getting messages through nature and intuition) has been my saving grace, my safe place and when walking in strong connection with God or Universal Life Force/Source Energy, it always produces awe. It also inspires deep connections and then magic or coincidence abounds! I Love Co-facilitating and taking workshops; sharing information /resources; Meditation and Healing circles; foraging and learning plant medicines/uses….And then creating it and using it or doing it. Anastasia Ringing Cedar books are such an amazing tool for experiencing growth and connection!       Hey you-Lets play!! Life – to me It’s about internal listening and community connections thus creating a community of like minded folks free to learn off the land – to listen to what it needs, and in turn, what I need or what you need. Let’s help each other by being the best we can be together and lifting each other up as a community of friends/healers. How? By sharing ideas, resources, connections, barn raising, trading recipes, etc.. There are so many different ways to achieve this- just as there are so many differences between us, there is always a thread of similarity that we can find within us all. I was given an earth spirit name many years ago after a few years of travels/walk about /healing journey. I received an internal push to respectfully honor a suggestion to learn a bit of how the Lakota peoples walked the land, doing many sweat lodge meditations ending with a Vision Quest. While traveling, a Lakota elder blessed me with an earth spirit name, Wazi Washa Pi – or Cedar Woman Star. The elder, Floyd looks for buffalo Hand, mentioned that I should explore each word in my name. Obviously, part of that journey connected me to trees, Cedar Trees especially spoke to me, one in a wise grandmother like fashion- each have their own personality- Wow!- there is so much strength/support for us out there! As well, it is mind blowing how much individualism there is out there. In each rock, blade of grass, plant, insect, animal, ocean swimmer, or winged one, each person, etc.!!               Fast forward to last year 2021, and I felt it was time to walk with/explore/take on my earth spirit name, Wazi Washa Pi. Since then, learning foraging and meeting like minded folks, as well as being re-introduced and strengthening my connection with/to nature. Cedars, Arbutus, Firs, Gary Oaks,etc… then someone mentioned there was a youtube version of a book series i might like!, posted a link! Hello Anastasia! (that was a long explanation, eh? 🙂 I’m on book 3, though I have skipped around a bit as sometimes I cant find the correct Youtube link- Shh! I skipped to book 10 one day-wow- LOL! :). I am wishing for the series to show up on my lap one day! LOL! I want to write in the margins, and fold corners, like back in the day.. old ways!  It feels so good to hear of things I have also experienced. Meeting and hearing stories from like minded folks on the RC sites- very cool! I always felt I was mostly alone in my experience and communication with trees, and now I know I am not. Connecting with Anastasia, and feeling God bumps all over my skin at many many points throughout the book, and when I share her info with others, Those God bumps just verify the depth of how this information rings true to me, as “there-in lies the truth.” {What are God bumps? a gentle energy wave comes over me, and all the hairs, mostly on arms stand on end,  which creates small tingles and bumps on the full surface of my arms.}This Feels so awe-inspiring, exciting and grounding! I am slowly getting to know folks and finding community. Hope to get out of the city more and more and live closer to the natural ways! Some Peeps I have newly connected with tell me they know about the books too! Wow! this is such an amazing time of finding my tribe – finally! peace out tribe! all my relations! Namaste.
