I started reading the books in the summer of '23 and finished in early '24. My life is forever changed!
I live minimalistically. A camper is my house but I spend most of my time outside. I want to be self sufficient with food in the next few years. I want to get back to our Pristine Origins.
I teach kids horse lessons on our farm and help my Mom with kids summer camps. I used to work as a trail builder. We built hiking, biking, horse and off road vehicle trails. I love anything that involves being outside and some of my biggest life long hobbies have been working with horses, mountain biking (although I no longer ride bikes because it doesn't align with my values), and hiking. I enjoy playing team sports. I also like to draw and water color and try different art forms. I'm interested in learning more about singing and dancing, especially their historical value. My Nana started to teach me to sing in early '24 and now my Mom, Nana, a friend, and I all sing a couple times a week! This was a interest that developed after reading the RC series as well as writing poetry.
Gardening is one of my biggest hobbies now and I'm planting as many native plants on our farm as possible (300 species being the goal) so that I can learn to understand them. Once I find my chosen one to create our kins domain, we will have seeds/seedlings of many plants ready to be placed in our creation!
I live on my family farm now but had been working in the mountains of NC for a year while reading the books (April '23 - April '24). Upon finishing the series, I felt the need to return home to our farm and start planting and making it our domain. I'd love to find my intended/beloved to do this with. I don't expect to meet him through this website but I hope being connected on here will help provide opportunities for group gatherings where I could meet him. I now realize the most important thing in life is to have a home that provides us with all and set up a future for our children. I want Paradise on Earth. For right now, the farm is what I have so I'm going to make it beautiful!
Since joining this website, my Nana has bought 12 acres bordering my Mom's farm so that now we have 26 contiguous acres of family land! I feel that I am one of the children who returned home to family and land, like mentioned in the books. I believe I'm meant to live in this area. How could I leave this gift of land that has been given to me and to all future generations in my line?
