About Me:
I started reading the books around 2009. I was compelled to pass the books onto others so they could read them too.
I started gardening like she had described by holding the seeds under my tongue for nine minutes, etc. My relationship with plants has gotten closer and closer. I got my own plot of land in 2012, a third of an acre just outside of Mount Rainier National Park. It is a challenge to grow things here due to being situated in an alpine climate and also because foraging animals love to eat what I grow.
There are endless berries to forage during the warmer months. Also, in the fall we are able to gather chanterelle mushrooms from the forest.
I haven't been able to grow even close to what I need, so I support my local organic farmer.
I took a 9 day course on building cob structures one year instead of going on vacation. It makes complete sense to me to build with natural materials which are locally sourced. I lean toward working together with nature as much as possible, decreasing arduous labor and toll on the environment and maximizing joyful co-creation.
I am so thankful to connect with this community. I am very much looking forward to living in a kins domain community where every family has a space of love. Thank you for reading my story. May you always have bright thoughts and aspirations!
