    Seeking Soulmate + Kin's Domain

    City: Loveland

    About Me:
Hi, I’m Diana. I like to sleep in and late. I am a night person. When I do get up early I enjoy seeing the day, though. I am an introvert, or ambivert - someone who likes to see people but then have alone time, too. I like coffee. I like going out and seeing people. I have started going to local dances and learning them. It was big for me to step out (hah! pun!) of my comfort zone, to do that. I am very spiritual but not preachy. I am working on myself and my own issues. I help clients with nutrition health coaching and herbal medicine. I have some health issues, and I have learned from overcoming them. Now I want to help others do the same. I can really geek out on this topic, and read nutrition books for fun. I have an advanced herbal medicine certificate, and a Bachelor of Arts degree. I really like mixing herbal teas to help a person’s need. I have liked reading about the healing work of a 13th century German abbess, Hildegard von Bingen. I am trying to learn about alchemy, and more about herbal medicine, which is a wide field. I want to know more about biodynamic farming and Rudolph Steiner, another mystic. I like learning about the dreamwork of Robert Moss, to reunite lost parts of our soul, or dream our future into existence. I’d like to take some shaman workshops. Goal: I have also studied homeopathy for two years, and hope to be a pro one day soon. I am figuring out how to get there, by checking out schools and paths. Other goals: become a lactation consultant, and maybe a post-partem doula. I really like learning languages because I change when I am speaking them(!!). I am more fun. I speak French (strong beginner/intermediate) and Italian (pretty fluent beginner). I learned a very little Russian, and hope to learn Spanish next. In college, I took sign language, but don’t remember much. I really like reading novels and stories - nothing too heavy or negative. (No books about alcoholic parents or hostages for me. I’m pretty sensitive to negative things.) I would like to try my hand at writing some stories, as I used to when I was young. As a kid, I was always drawing and writing, then got into still photography in high school. I like authors like Sharon Shinn and other science fiction and fantasy authors. I like Regency and Victorian romance stories, and the history of it all. But I have also read westerns widely the past (Louis L’Amour, few Zane Grey), some spy novels (Bourne Identity), and mysteries. But usually its science fiction/fantasy, and historical romance. (I wonder why we like these, because the rules and opportunities were so limited for women at that time.) I am an avid gardener, and have been growing quite a lot of vegetables and herbs in the last five years, in apartment grounds, and a small rental plot 10 feet by 12 feet (3 by 4 meters). My family have learned a lot about how to grow food, especially in the strong sun of Colorado. The growing days are 6am to 9:30pm!! I have gardened since I was as teenager. I look forward to designing a whole kin domain with many fun trees, and hope that some would be climbable. I really like to cook, and make most of my  own food because its cheaper to eat well that way. I have made meats (which are taboo in the book), sourdough breads, pies, baked goods... and yes, vegetables. I have a background in video, film and graphic design around Los Angeles, California, USA, too.  These past jobs help me today to create video podcasts, marketing, and a website for my current health work. I really like the Star Trek universe, and hope we are moving towards it. There is talk about six possible futures, and that someone from the future came and talked with Gene Roddenberry, the creator, to help the world move in a positive direction. There was talk that some people in the future saw that their timeline was getting messed up in some way. Who knows? I am starting to read more about UFO/space info. Some people say that we already have interplanetary travel and much more advanced technology for everything. But I am not waiting for anyone from the stars to come save us. (Stephen Greer, Elena Danaan - very interesting. I am skeptical of some others.) I really like dogs and horses. I have had many beloved dogs, but haven’t ever owned a horse. I have taken riding lessons to a high beginner level, many years ago. I have a toy of a large black and white horse, and I was dreaming about (and bringing into existence) my own farmstead the other night with a large real horse, or several, running by, free. I like falcons and birds of prey, and often think that we should be able to talk to them. I’d like to study falconry with someone, and just found a school. I thought it was not allowed at all, so was excited to find out that I could. I like doing crafts like sewing, simple weaving, simple knitting. I like the design and buying of the stuff more than the actual implementation, which takes longer. I very much like basketry, but have little experience in this. I like wood, especially colorful ones, and wooden boxes. I like marquetry (stained glass in wood, or designs embedded into wood furniture), and things like birds eye maple, and very old, well kept antiques. I wouldn’t mind working and learning more about this field. (In the past in school, I took shop classes, and was the only young woman there.) I have one grown teenager who lives with me half the time. If I find a domain far from my current city, I would like to have her have a plot nearby, so that I can see her. I am also living with my mother, who is independent. In the past I have witnessed and helped making beer and wine. I can’t really do this yet. I am learning a little  about crystals and alchemy. I think it would be amazing to live in a treehouse, much like the Elves in Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings, or the redwoods’ tree houses from Star War’s Revenge of the Jedi. And this was in another story by Robin Hobb. I wonder how to hang rooms off huge trees, and have covered walkways between them.
