I was raised in a beautiful forest near the south shore of Lake Ontario.
My 6 sisters and two brothers were homeschooled and there was no television in our home.

We spent our days creating, singing, writing and coloring stories and building a life for our little selves in the woods.

When I grew up I went to sea for adventure and solitude, became a yacht captain and have been to the most beautiful places and lived an enchanted and blessed life.

I was given the 1st book of the Ringing Cedars series in 2018 while visiting Kauai and they have been a peaceful and comforting reminder of the truths I’ve always felt & known… and so much more!
Life at sea is not conducive to a home, a garden and a family though, so I am just getting back to the earth, the forest and my motherland with so much gratitude, joy and wonderment.

I remain ever hopeful for a Man, a co-creator to share my future with,

I enjoy building beautiful spaces, woodworking, cooking and baking, sewing, forging streams and horseback riding, spending time with my family, taking my nephews into the woods, learning piano, ukulele and violin.
