7 Steps to Growing your own Full Plate of Food

Starting to grow your own food can be a little overwhelming, but what I like to do is start with the end in mind! Otherwise you get excited, buy a pile of seeds and then throw them in the ground. Some will grow, some won’t – and if it was like my very first experience – the things I grew.. I didn’t really eat! This can be disheartening, so I recommend doing a 90 Day Grow your plate challenge, because that first time you grow your own full plate of food – it’s a real confidence booster!

Also, even if you only have a small backyard or courtyard, you can start with pots or raised beds – that’s where I first started. 

I didn’t start with having land… I began in a cement courtyard and built some raised beds and pots.. you can see it here:

So even if you haven’t got your Kins Domain yet, starting to grow some food now rather than later will mean that you can hit the ground running when you finally have your land!
