They had two babies in diapers already when they chose this land\, pitched up a tent\, and built a house with their own hands using materials on the property. They dug a well\, grew a garden\, and hunted deer for food. I was prayed for\, born\, conceived\, and raised on this land\, and it is my Motherland — I feel as though it is my larger body. I would like to invite readers into this sacred place for a potluck picnic. \nI share this space with my parents and wish to respect their privacy\, but we can picnic in the yard between my living space and theirs. I would love to do just a little gentle yoga and a guided meditation. So bring a blanket or two! DESCRIPTION:Join us in November for the next Ringing Cedars NorCal Meeting (main event day on the 1st)!\nHi\, I’m Alex Audet\, Northern California Regional Ambassador. \nWhere: It will be at the Sycamore Ranch (https://secure.itinio.com/yuba) near Yuba City Ca. \nAccommodation: Campsite sites are $50 per night\, though we can split these sites to have a few people on each one. If camping with us\, please contact the Alexander Audet to send along a payment to secure your campsite. Spots may be limited. Otherwise\, you are free to stay at alternative accommodation in Yuba City or Nevada City nearby and come to visit for the day on the 1st\, or just make the drive from home on the first. \nActivities: Events will include a yoga\, pranayama\, and meditation class focused on increasing your embodied awareness of nature in the morning lead by Alexander Audet\, 200 YTT certified at Akhanda Yoga in Rishikesh India. Next come prepared to discuss Book 5 of the Ringing Cedars in the early afternoon\, followed by a discussion about where we would want to look at acquiring land for Kin’s domains and a discussion about how we would each want to set up a community of kin’s domains. Civilized discussion and productive disagreement are encouraged as we get clear about our dreams for the future!Finally\, we will finish the day with a potluck and stories/music around the campfire. Each meeting we analyse 1/4 of a book.\nAbout the host: “My name is Tina Ivčević Pušić. I’m a horse woman living on my kins domain on Vis\, Croatia. The books have inspired me immensely in creating a beautiful life for myself. I’m on my path of doing just that! My initial idea for this book club came from a wish to have a book club at a good time of day in Europe. This is a way to enable European readers to connect more easily\, but everyone is invited. The more\, the merrier!” \nAbout the club: We are analysing the books\, but we’re also talking about how each of us can and will take the ideas we’re inspired by and practically implement them into our own lives. It’s a practical study group! \nMeeting structure: We begin each call with what we managed to improve from last call and what we need support with\, continue with the main part – analysing the book\, and end the call with what we want to improve in the next month. \nTechnical details: \n– We meet every month just before a full moon\, at 7pm Central European Time.\n– The meeting time is 90min to 2 hours.\n– We analyse 1/4 of the book each time.
