Greetings from the Green Mountains

1
I love in Bristol Vermont in a small co-housing community. We are multigenerational and situated right in the downtown of the cutest village. Ironically, our 15 unit community plus common house and community gardens is all located on pretty much one hectare of land. I have lived here for almost 3 years.
Of course , after reading the books ( I’m currently on 8.1) I realize that what I’m living in is nothing like the kin domain concept but but more like a stepping stone to that dream. We are utilizing solar and all sorts of energy conservation and low carbon footprint but I really do see how having ones own space of love can take things to a
whole new level with particular regard to self sufficiency.

Greetings Shamanmark,

Your community has undoubtedly taught you many valuable things that would contribute to building your kins domain someday. Welcome to this forum. What would you say are the top three things you've learned from your Co-housing experience?
