Dear friends, Gabriel here.

In August, our Northern California Regional Ambassador Alex Audet, and our Tennessee Regional Ambassador Ruth DeVors both hosted weekend Ringing Cedars readers’ campouts. Below are their stories and photos for you to enjoy!

Tennessee, from Ruth

“Our reader’s gathering at Big Ridge State Park in Maynardville, TN this past weekend was a heartwarming time for all participants! Much gratitude to all who were present and giving of the gifts of their time and attention. We had 8 beautiful souls gathered for meetup time at the shelter, 3 of them brand new to these gatherings, and four of us had camped together in the park! We talked a great deal of kin domains and ideas we’d each incorporate in our own and the wider community. We drew and colored out images on paper of aspects that we particularly cared about seeing on our domains or in the settlement and shared why these were important to us! We also kept returning to the focus of easy natural health when living connected to the land, and had some great examples of those doing this already in our group! One of them, although new to the Ringing Cedars, has been living this way for many years and even had a youtube channel in the past that had previously inspired another in the group years ago to this way of living, although they only met in person at this event, how amazing!”

Northern California, from Alex

“We met up high on Mt Shasta on a sacred land to the people who have lived here for generations and commonly still felt to be an energetic vortex of the land. 2 of the attendees have come before while 5 attendees where new in addition to 4 children who blessed the event! We began the more formal part of the gathering around the campfire introducing ourselves, our relationship with the books, and what we were looking for in community. The conversation naturally drifted towards places we had looked for finding land, and living out ideas from the books. Suitable for such a potent night under the stars we discussed how Anastasia recommends sleeping out under them on the eve of your birthday. We also discussed the importance of visualizing our future on a daily basis and how we would like to incorporate more of this into future meetups. After the Shasta campout, some of us went to meet Sacramento folks at Tea and Fusion Cafe in downtown Sacramento. There we met two other new bright souls, and continued to discuss areas we would like to look for land and the blessing and challenges of these landscapes.”
