“On Saturday, September 12th, the Vancouver Island Readers Group gathered at a seaside location with picnic tables overlooking the mountains. We shared a meal of garden-grown foods and traded seeds.
“The afternoon carried a generous spirit; several members walked away with brand-new copies of Book 1, and then we hiked into the forest to visit an 800-year-old Douglas Fir.
“Standing in her presence was a quiet, grounding experience: mesmerizing, inspiring, and utterly majestic. A perfect end to the day for Ringing Cedars readers.”
